All four chapters of the disaster-action AIRPORT film series are included in this star-studded collection, which features stars including Charlton Heston, James Stewart, Jack Lemmon, and George Kennedy (who appears in all four films in the series). AIRPORT, a film nominated for 10 Academy Awards, features Burt Lancaster, Dean Martin and an Oscar-winning supporting turn from Helen Hayes, and is centered around events that includes a devastating snowstorm and an imminent explosion. The film's sequel AIRPORT '75 (starring Heston) features a deadly crash which blinds a plane's pilot, and is followed by AIRPORT '77 (starring Lemmon, Stewart and Joseph Cotten), which tells the tale of a plane which crash-lands in the deadly Bermuda Triangle. The saga's final chapter, THE CONCORDE...AIRPORT '79, follows a plane that is targeted by a nefarious arms dealer (Wagner). |
